The ViOBio laboratory needs volunteers for a new study in which they will check which of your two eyes is the dominant one

DO YOU KNOW WHICH OF YOUR TWO EYES IS THE DOMINANT?

WHY DO YOU THINK THAT IN PATIENTS WITH TIRED EYES OR FALLS IT MAY BE CRUCIAL TO DETERMINE IT?

THE LABORATORY OF "VISUAL AND BIOPHOTONIC OPTICS" NEED VOLUNTEERS

Requirements:

- Age between 40 and 55 years old.
- Good eye health (no pathologies). Not having undergone eye surgery.
- Myopia <-6.00 D or Hyperopia <+4.00 D.
- Astigmatism ≤ 1.00 D (if you don't know it, we'll check it for you).

Measurements:

The measurements consist of dynamic and simple tests to determine which of the two eyes is dominant over the other. Knowing our dominant eye is important as it has direct implication in many of the corrections of tired sight or of cataracts that are currently being implemented.

- 1 single measurement session of approximately 2 hours (subject to availability volunteer hours, morning or afternoon) including short breaks or pauses as tests progress.

- At the end of the session the pupils of both eyes should be dilated, so at 3h-4h Next will see slightly blurry up close (the time and the level of blurring varies between subjects), and they will notice some glare when exposed to the light of the Sun.
