On February 21st, it was published in the B. O. E. the ministerial order ICT/149/2020, of 7 February, which recognises the light intensity and luminous flux patterns developed by the IO-CSIC as the national patterns of these magnitudes.

This order modifies the annex to Royal Decree 648/1994, of 15 April, which declares the national measurement standards of the basic units of the International System of Units; and Order ITC/2581/2006, of 28 July, which defines the national standards of units derived from the international system of units.
