In this conference, entitled "Optics and light: from astronomy to the eye", the CSIC researcher addressed from a didactic approach the development of new diagnostic techniques, treatment and correction of problems such as myopia or presbyopia through research on Optics and light.
The conference is framed within the set of activities that the Delegation of the CSIC in Castilla y León has carried out on the occasion of the Science Week. It will serve as the closing form of the exhibition "A Universe of Light", conducted by the Institute of Optics in which she investigates and has been exhibited in the Upper Courtyard of the "Casa de las Conchas" since the beginning of November.
Susana Marcos was received by the mayor of Salamanca, Carlos García Carbayo, last September, to convey the support of the city of Salamanca to his work and congratulations on his recently won National Research Award.
