This research project in which the IO-CSIC participates has been highlighted in the EURAMET news among the success stories by having the International Lighting Commission approve a joint technical committee (CIE JTC 12) that will provide a methodology to measure the visual attributes known as "sparkle" and "graininess" and to develop a measurement scale. The Chairman of that committee is Dr. Alejandro Ferrero of the IO-CSIC. Details can be found on the EURAMET portal
