SimVis Patent awarded Best Patent of the Year by Fundación Madri+d

Congratulations to Carlos Dorronsoro, José Ramón Alonso and Susana Marcos, inventors of Patent “Miniaturized Simultaneous Vision Simulator”, which has been awarded with the Best Patent Award by Fundación Madrid+d. The jury has positively evaluated the large market potential for a device that addresses the aging of the population. The patent, along two others owned by CSIC, and licensed to the spin-off company 2EyesVision, is the core technology of SimVis, a wearable see-through simulator of multifocal corrections for presbyopia.
