Cycle of Conferences: What is light? History of scientific ideas about light
  As an activity framed within the International Year of the Light, the Spanish Society of Optics and Optical Institute (CSIC) in collaboration with the National Museum of Science and Technology (Alcobendas, Madrid) they have organized a Cycle of Conferences in which analyze how they have changed the course of history the scientific conceptions about light.

 

  The program cycle can be seen in the attached poster. We ask you to spread by the media to estimate this information timely.

 

  We thank the Complutense University of Madrid to recognize the assistance cycle 1.5 and 2.5 credits to graduate and undergraduate students respectively.

 

  Parallel to cycle along this year, you get a monographic number devoted to the same subject in the Journal of Science, Thought and Culture ARBOR, published by the Superior Council Scientific Research. We will announce when available.
