Maria Vinas has been awarded in the Emil Wolf Outstanding Student Paper Competition for her work, Optical performance with multi-zone multifocal designs with natural and corrected ocular aberrations, presented at Frontiers in Optics 2014 (Tucson, USA).
This program was established in 2008 to honor Emil Wolf for his many contributions to science and the Optical Society, this competition recognizes the innovation, research and presentation excellence of students presenting their work during Frontiers in Optics (FiO).
