On February 11, 2022, Rosalía Serna and Eva Nieto from the Laser Processing Group of the Institute of Optics gave a talk entitled: “I am a scientist” to second year ESO students at IES Blas de Otero

The two researchers explained what a scientific career consists of and how to become one, and they also explained what light is and showed experiments in which it is seen how it propagates in different ways in different materials, such as water, or through methacrylate fibers.
