Instituto de Óptica “Daza de Valdés”

The Institute of Optics welcomes Professor Hernando García

16 Feb, 2022 | Laser Processing Group (LPG)

He comes on a sabbatical from the Southern Illinois University Edwarsville (SIUE) Department of Physics.

His fields of interest are nonlinear optics, nonlinearities in optical fibers, the generation of supercontinuums and the formation of optical shocks in optical fibers, the dynamics of coherent properties of optical pulses in fibers, and ultrafast spectroscopy. .

A lower energy leads to a TiO2 phase with a lower TiN contribution, while a higher fluence produces a higher amount of TiN.
