Frequently Asked Questions
A. A maximum of 30 profiles will be selected based on their academic record and motivation letter.
Q. If I am studying a master’s degree, what average grade should I provide? That of the master’s degree or that of the bachelor’s degree, diploma or degree?
A. If I am studying a master’s degree, both the average grades of the master’s courses already evaluated and the average grade of the bachelor’s degree prior to the master’s degree will be provided.
Q. If I reside in an autonomous community other than Madrid but study in Madrid, can I apply for travel assistance?
A. No. This assistance is intended exclusively for travel expenses for students residing outside of Madrid.
Q. When will I know if I am granted travel assistance, and its amount?
A. The selection of students receiving travel assistance will be made before March 30. At that time, they will be informed of the amount granted, which will cover a reasonable part of the travel and accommodation costs.
Q. Will a certificate be issued as proof of having attended the course?
A. A certificate stating the number of teaching hours will be issued. However, whether this number of teaching hours can be incorporated into the university curriculum depends exclusively on the competent bodies of each university.
Q. If I am about to start my thesis at another centre, or am already doing it, can I enrol on the course?
A. No. One of the main objectives of the course is to allow students without research experience to get an impression of the research career to help them decide whether or not they want to start their thesis. Given the high number of applications, we cannot consider applications from students with this experience.
Q. What language will the course be in?
A. In Spanish, with occasional interventions in English
