Today, March 8, marks International Women’s Day. On this day, we want to claim the need for real and effective gender equality in all areas of our society, a goal that corresponds to Sustainable Development Goal 5.
To help in this goal, it is important to see women in all professional fields, such as in basic science or physics where there is no lack of vocation, but there is a lack of equal opportunities once you start your scientific career.
In commemoration of the International Day of Women and Girls in Science, as well as today, a card game was held highlighting the figure of women at the Institute of Optics. A link to download the cards is provided at the end of the article.
