Our colleague Joaquín Campos from the Optical Radiation Measurements group is going to give a conference entitled ‘The System International Units’ next Thursday June 22 in La Laguna (Tenerife).
In the conference, he will explain, among other things, the reasons that have led to the definition of a new measurement system since May 20, 2019, coinciding with World Metrology Day, in which all the basic units of measurement have been linked to different physical constants such as the speed of light.
