  • This month's scientific coffee will be managed and administered by IO-CSIC

Madrid / October 11, 2024

This month, we will celebrate the IO Scientific Café on Thursday, October 31st with the talk ““Management, what for?”” given by Cecilia Galarza Pons and Claudia García Carballo (Management/Administration). It will be at 11:00 a.m. in the Conference Room (S121), followed by some coffees in the Club+Terraza.

Have you ever reflected on the role of Management in research? Do you feel lost or overwhelmed when you think about the management or administrative procedures in your day-to-day life? From the Management/Administration Department we believe that it is necessary to situate ourselves within the regulatory context that surrounds us and affects the scientific activity that takes place at the Institute.

The purpose of this talk is to give a first global vision of R&D&I Management to contextualize it in your research.
