The next Congress and Exhibition on Advanced Materials and Processing (Euromat 2013) will be held in Seville (Spain) next September 8th -13th. In the frame of this large Congress, under auspices of the Federation of European Materials Societies, we are organizing the Symposium A1.I on Ultrafast Laser Processing and Functionalization of Materials for Technological Applications.

The symposium is aimed at providing a multidisciplinary forum for discussion of state of the art ultrashort laser pulse-assisted materials processing and functionalization methodologies, as well as fundamental studies on laser-matter interaction mechanisms triggered by ultrashort laser pulses.

We will most appreciate receiving your contribution to this event, and hope to see you in the charming city of Seville next September. The deadline for paper submission is next January 31st, 2013.
