Ricardo Vergaz Benito:

Associate Professor in the Department of Electronic Technology. Physicist and Electronic Engineer, PhD in Physical Sciences from the University of Valladolid. Since 2001 he has worked in the GDAF-UC3M group of the uc3m, where he teaches Electronics and Photonics. His research lines focus on electro-optical materials and devices, as well as their characterization and applications in engineering: new generations of solar cells, metasurfaces and nanostructures design to improve the efficiency of photodetectors and emitters, and several electronic applications in assistive technologies, in collaboration with CESyA. Supervisor of 5 Ph.Ds., co-author of more than 50 JCR indexed articles (h-index of 20), more than 120 communications to Conferences, co-inventor of 2 patents (one under exploitation) and a software registry. Currently Deputy Vicerector of Infrastructures for uc3m Digital.
